Privacy Policy
Last updated June 20, 2026
This policy describes how Finisdom Technologies Ltd collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you visit our site, join our waitlist, or use the Finisdom application. We aim to collect only what we need and to be straightforward about what we do with it.
1. Introduction and Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Finisdom Technologies Ltd ("Finisdom", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information in connection with the Finisdom website and application (the "Service"). It applies to people who visit our site, join our waitlist or founding list, or create and use a Finisdom account.
Finisdom Technologies Ltd is the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy. If you have any questions, or wish to exercise your rights, you can reach us at tonyyazdan@gmail.com.
Finisdom is an analysis and monitoring tool. It does not provide investment, financial, tax, or legal advice. Please also review our Terms for the rules that govern use of the Service.
2. Information We Collect
Waitlist / founding list email. If you join our waitlist or founding list, we collect the email address you provide so we can contact you about the Service.
Account data. If you create an account, we collect your email address, your display name, and your password. Passwords are not stored in plain text — they are securely hashed by our authentication layer (better-auth).
Content you enter. When you use the Service, we store the content you create or upload, such as portfolios, holdings, client records, saved backtests, alerts, and journal notes. This content belongs to you; we process it to provide the Service to you.
Technical and usage data. To run a hosted web application we process basic technical data, including a first-party session cookie used to keep you logged in, and standard server and log information such as your IP address and browser type. This data is inherent to operating any website.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above to: provide, operate, and maintain the Service; authenticate you and keep your account secure; send you service-related and founding/waitlist emails; respond to your questions and provide support; understand and improve how the Service is used; protect the Service against fraud, abuse, and security threats; and comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not run third-party ad targeting.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use a single first-party session cookie that is strictly necessary to authenticate you and keep you signed in. Without it, the logged-in parts of the Service cannot function.
We do not currently use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If this ever changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information.
Subprocessors. We share information with a limited set of service providers strictly to operate the Service: Vercel (application hosting) and Neon (PostgreSQL database hosting). These providers process data on our behalf under their own agreements and security commitments.
Market-data providers. To deliver market and macro information we query third-party data sources such as FRED, SEC EDGAR, CFTC, CoinGecko, and Finnhub, among others. These requests carry instrument symbols and similar non-personal parameters — we do not send your personal information to them.
Payment processing. We do not currently process payments. If we add a payment processor in the future, it will handle payment information under its own privacy policy.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information where we believe in good faith it is necessary to comply with law or legal process, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Finisdom, our users, or the public.
Business transfers. If Finisdom is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
6. Third-Party Data Sources
The market, macro, and reference data shown in the Service is sourced from third parties. We do not control, and cannot guarantee, the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or availability of that data, and it may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable at times. You should not rely on it as the sole basis for any decision. Your use of such data is also subject to our Terms.
7. International Data Transfers
We are based in the United Arab Emirates, but our hosting providers and other subprocessors may store and process data on servers located outside the UAE, including in the United States and the European Union. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to, and its processing in, countries that may have data-protection laws different from those of your own jurisdiction. Where required, we take steps to ensure such transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards.
8. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter only as long as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Waitlist and founding-list emails are retained until you ask us to remove you or we no longer need them.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing tonyyazdan@gmail.com.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including hashing account passwords and relying on reputable hosting infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
10. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to request a copy of the data you have provided. To exercise any of these rights, email us at tonyyazdan@gmail.com and we will respond as required by applicable law.
You can opt out of marketing or founding-list emails at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in those emails or by contacting us. We may still send you essential service-related messages about your account.
These rights are provided in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and, where applicable to you, comparable frameworks such as the EU GDPR and the California CCPA.
11. Children
The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at tonyyazdan@gmail.com and we will take steps to delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated policy here and revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after an update takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
13. Contact and Governing Law
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your information, contact Finisdom Technologies Ltd at tonyyazdan@gmail.com.
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any disputes relating to it are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.
